It was a holiday today, and what better way to celebrate, to have some ice cream!
I love the way the ice cream swirls around when it goes in to the crunchy cone. I like it to be like a sundae in a cup.
Of course, the paint can only make it more fun, but eating it was almost as good a time. This is a big ice cream cone, and would make a very fun space on a wall. It is 11 x 15 .  You can go here to bid on it. CLICK, and maybe you will have a  delicious decor.

Before the Spring is over, I wanted to capture the delicate tree blossoms that float like confetti on the winds.
Lovely white petals are scattering in delicate waves, like butterfly wings.  this is a 12"x12"painting on stretched canvas. Click here to get information on this painting.

All the colors of flowers were echoed in the fabric on the table..and the vase was reflecting all the colors.
This was fun to block the colors into the shapes that then become flowers. It is a little larger work, on 1/2 sheet of watercolor paper.I wanted to leave a lot of the background showing and only do a little bit to the flowers.   Enjoy.

I just love aqua colors, they are so natural to water and make me feel cool, even when it is hot in the sun. Cobalt Turquoise and aquamarine are two of my favorite colors.
Sunflowers are usually a very warm flower, but today, in the early morning light, the viridian shadows play on the flowers to keep them cool. Enjoy my little daily painting. It is  5x7inches.

I was in the mood for roses today. These remind me of my favorite Chintz fabrics from home.
I remember these flowers on my bed linens, and I always wanted to paint them. Now I did.
Hope you like them as much as I do.  I like images that return nice memories to my mind. It is just a small painting, but I tried to keep the flowers large and simply painted. It is on my paintworks gallery to bid on  it.

I painted  a group of vibrant sun flowers today, all in a smaller size, so that I could loosen up and paint quickly.
Hope you like my little mini.

Today I was remembering the grapes before the wine. I love the colors the grapes are coming in. They are all sorts of rich tones of purple blue and green. I am most interested in how the colors work with each other.
This is a pastel, done on special tinted ground so that the vibrant background shows through, just like in nature. Email me if you are interested in this painting. It is 8" x 10 " on pastel on Wallis paper.
I would like YOU to have it!
